News, announcements & pinned notices
What the portal has published, newest first and pinned when it matters.
This is where the portal posts what people need to know: announcements, news, system notices, resource notices and training dates. A post is written by portal staff from the Raptor portal administration side, and it carries the author's name and the time it was published.
A post can be pinned, which lifts it to the top of the list above newer ones until the pin is removed — the place for a notice that has to be read, such as a coverage gap, a resource out of service, a training night or an exercise that will generate activity.
The search bar at the top of this page searches the page and these posts together, so a question about a resource, a guide or a notice can be answered from one box rather than by scrolling.
Posts are written by a person and pinned by a person. Nothing on this list is pulled in from a news service, and a pinned notice is a portal announcement rather than an official emergency alert — official hazard warnings are recorded separately and shown as they were issued.

Do you know where an AED, Narcan, Bleeding Control or other resource is?
If you know where some of the resources in the photo attached are contact us or add them yourself so those in an emergency situation can find these resources and rapidly intervene.

Onslow Priority Launches "Stop The Killing" Program
Onslow Priority-Rapid Aid has officially launched our stop the killing program after the horrific events of the Silver Rail Elementary Shooting, the program allows law enforcement to receive direct images, video, audio, text, and quick options in an active shooter/attacker event from bystanders, callers, and victims in a unified incident with live collaboration. The impact? LEO before even arriving know exact location of shooter, description, weapons, armor, number injured, entry points, hazards, entry routes, and nearest bleeding control kits. The goal of this is to give the best possible chance for officers to put down a shooter before any or anymore lives can be lost because officers can't stop a threat quickly if they don't know who, what, and where. -Onslow Priority-Rapid Aid

Everything here describes the platform as built, subject to the configuration decisions of the community or agency using it.
Free for the people who need it, anywhere it runs.
It is not tied to one town or one county: a department, agency or community anywhere in the country or the world can run it. Residents are never charged. Departments pay for the parts they use, and donations let us put more resources into a community that could not otherwise afford them.
- · Defibrillators, naloxone and bleeding-control kits
- · Guides, voice instructions and training material
- · Mapping the equipment a community already has
