Implementation

Integration, implementation & automation

Works alongside what a community or an agency already runs, and asks for nothing new to be bought.

The platform connects externally, which is what makes it a backup rather than a burden: there is no direct CAD link, nothing installed on an agency's equipment, and no dependency a call waits on. It reaches phones, tablets, computers, web and radio, and it needs no expensive software, upgrades, attachments or changes.

How much happens by itself is a decision rather than a default. Features can run fully automatic, semi-automatic with a person confirming each step, or entirely manual — and they can move between those levels as operations change.

Each agency decides what is switched on and which actions stay with a person. Connecting to an existing system is a configuration project the agency chooses, never an automatic switch.

Automated
  • Call creation
  • Medical alerts
  • Resource mapping and routing
  • Profile snapshots
  • High-priority notifications
  • Situation reports
  • Over 90% of features can be automated through configurable rules
Semi-automated
  • Dispatch approval
  • Live collaboration
  • Hand-offs
  • Emergency alerts
  • Quick commands
  • Audits
  • Call assignments and welfare checks
Manual
  • Bystander collaboration
  • Profile creation
  • Emergency reporting
  • Welfare scheduling
  • Other user-controlled tasks
  • Features can shift between levels as operations need
How it works alongside your systems
  • Connects externally, so there is always a backup in an emergency that won't cripple an agency if the system fails
  • Reaches phones, tablets, computers, web and radio — through the app or external methods
  • Calls can be created from radio or dispatch audio, civilian input, 911 input links, and dispatch or responder input
  • A rapid link starts live video so collaboration can begin straight away
  • Voice controls, key inputs, automation triggers and screen inputs support dispatchers and responders without hindering them
Implementation
  • Universally available for external use on phones, tablets, computers and radio
  • No direct CAD links are required
  • No expensive payments, links, upgrades, changes or attachments are needed
  • Raptor Aid software is a support for an agency's CAD or MDT, never a replacement for it

The detail behind it

5 sectionsOpen any one to read it.

A deployment starts with a conversation and a configuration, not with an installation project: what the community wants switched on, who may use it, and what the rules are.

  • Decide the capabilities to enable, and the exclusions
  • Decide roles, verification requirements and who approves them
  • Decide alerting policy, distances and watched areas
  • Register the community's own resources and their access detail
  • Start with one capability if that is what fits, and expand as needs develop

Everything here describes the platform as built, subject to the configuration decisions of the community or agency using it.

Support this work

Free for the people who need it, anywhere it runs.

It is not tied to one town or one county: a department, agency or community anywhere in the country or the world can run it. Residents are never charged. Departments pay for the parts they use, and donations let us put more resources into a community that could not otherwise afford them.

  • · Defibrillators, naloxone and bleeding-control kits
  • · Guides, voice instructions and training material
  • · Mapping the equipment a community already has
